MESIN LAMA BANYAK JASA

Berapa agaknya usia mesin jahit SINGER ni? 30 tahun ? 40 tahun ?

Masa beli tahun 1992 penjual tu kata mesin second hand ni memang dah lama dia simpan.

Bila beli mesin jahit portable, dah jarang guna. Lama lama mesin pun merajuk, jahitan pun tak cantik.

Maka disimpan dalam bilik setor sehingga 2 hari lepas. Cadangnya nak servis mungkin letak motor.

Barang yang berjasa jangan dijual nanti menyesal.

ONE WOMAN'S TRASH IS ANOTHER WOMAN'S TREASURE

When my stepmother renovates her house she does not have storage space for the bagful of scraps she has been keeping for years. After one phone call I rushed over to her house in Subang Jaya to collect the above. What lovely materials I was given. High quality cotton, lace material from Korea which I want to make tablecloth. Samples of curtain material from Korea which will soon become pencil cases, perfect timing to receive these as I am committed to sew pencil cases for a charity project.

My favorite..the one with fat cats and thin cats..

Dengan kak sepupu yang tinggal di Taiping..kipas anyaman tu boleh buat hiasan, bakul boleh isi buah2an.

HOUSE POUCH

I made this HOUSE POUCH as a gift to a friend in Sabah. Actually I am in group called GMJ short for GENG MESIN JAHIT..(sewing machine gang) and we exchange pouches as our first activity. I want to sew something different from the ordinary so this idea came to my mind.

I am going to sew one for my kitchen so that I have somewhere to put all the loose coins sometime I find lying around on the floor...:)

THE ROADS LESS TAKEN...

At Selama bus station. This bus took us to Taiping..an old bus that has seen better days.

While waiting for departure time, I snapped this picture.

Earlier, we traveled on this bus from Kulim to Selama.

At 'pasar pagi' Kamunting..the building at the back is a public toilet,
among others , it says the toilet is 'wangi' :)

From Kamunting, Taiping to Kuala Lumpur we traveled by Transnational bus.

The bus departed at 11am so we had ample time to go to
'pasar pagi' Quite interesting...above you see electrical appliances..

....rice cookers, fans, plates...etc

SARUNG KAKI DARI PERCA LYCRA

Bila menjahit tudung maka banyaklah kain perca jenis yang stretchable ni.

Antara benda yang boleh dijahit menggunakan perca lycra ialah sarung kaki.

Sekarang kita boleh jimat duit tak payah beli lagi.

Boleh jahit gabungan yang lebih 'fancy' dengan corak bunga2 atau abstract.

Nak match dengan warna baju pun boleh :)
